For anyone who works in the arts, but especially those of you who do concert programming, composing, and educational stuff in classical and vocal rep, I just have to share her work with you. Please subscribe to her free Substack and peruse her site too. You will be blown away by her musicianship, her scholarship, and by the very enjoyable storytelling she uses in her writing to make music history come alive.
I find these posts to be very relatable. They're funny, but what I especially enjoy is that they feel like talking to a friend, without the effort of actually talking. So really the very best of the internet in that sense. He covers a range of topics with a vastness that always surprises me and writes about pop culture and tech in an engaging way. Goofy and honest and fun to read.
