Tissue Paper Soldier

The time that’s about to happen has already gone by. 

I can see: in the blue dress lounging over her chair, lips pursed, bedroom eyes now closed to receive my kiss — sexy, though obviously from Old Navy — I can see, already, my dress, in future photos from today’s festivities.

In the photos the event is over now and I have déjà vu for the passage of time…
