My mother donated blood often when she was in her 50s. She would head to the Cigna blood drive after work and return home with a triumphant, colorful bandage around her elbow. She either did it often or she did it once and it blew my mind. Memory is such that it makes no difference now.
I’ve read this before but it was wonderful hearing you read it -- a whole new dimension. A great story and terrific delivery.
